After-School Tutoring
Learning doesn’t stop when the school bell rings. Our FREE After-School Tutoring program provides students with academic support in reading, math, and homework help—all in a safe, nurturing environment. With passionate mentors and small group sessions, we’re closing learning gaps and building confidence one student at a time.

Summer at the Sixth 2026
Summer should be a season of growth—not setbacks. Our high-energy summer camp keeps kids engaged through hands-on learning, creative exploration, field trips, and fun. Registration is now open, and we are thrilled to announce this year’s theme: Camp Around the World! 🌎✈️
Join us June 15 – July 24, 2026, as we “travel” across continents, explore cultures, and ignite curiosity!

- Skills-Based Workshops -CPR, public speaking, emotional management, career exploration, chess, tennis, swimming, financial literacy and more!

$50 registration fee, $135 weekly

Join Vocabby and our UAB ArtPlay friends for a FREE program to learn and explore new vocabulary words through song, movement, and creativity.
(For children ages 0–5 and their grown-ups)
Vocabby’s World is a community vocabulary program in partnership with UAB ArtPlay and sponsored by the PNC Foundation, UAB Live HealthSmart Alabama, and the Sixth Avenue Community Development Corporation. The adventures of Vocabby take pre-K children on exciting travels around the world as they learn vocabulary through science and arts concepts.
